In Belgium, in your last year of middle school (age 17-18), you need to make a GIP, which is like a finals BIG project to show what you can do and incorporate all the things you learned for a REAL client.
My GIP was a ‘restaurant’ order website for the school’s canteen. I lost my last version of the code, but I still have an older backup, which you can visit here: RubenHunter/GIP.
I implemented a full website with an ordering system using PHP as my database ‘connection’, with a full payment system, and published the website to the public. This website included full admin control for maintenance.
